Why we're called Mend.
When Paul wrote that church leaders are given “to equip the saints for the work of ministry,” his word for equip came from the same verb the gospels use for fishermen mending their nets. In the Bible's own language, equipping is mending: making what is torn whole, and ready for the work again.
That is our job. We keep the everyday work of running a church in good repair, so your people can get back to ministry.
